Converging Creatives – 2012 Inspirational Arts Exhibition - What Inspires You?
Bay Harbor, MI, - A Juried Inspirational Arts Exhibition with BEST IN SHOW cash prizes for both Visual and Performing Artists will run from Thursday, March 1, 2012 through Sunday, March 11, 2012 in the Village at Bay Harbor Galleries. This will be the kick-off event for the 2012 Converging Creatives Mutual Inspiration Consortium.
Painters, sculptors, writers, dancers and poets or any artists who create work to be viewed or performed are welcome to be a part of the exhibition. Visual artwork may be submitted as digital images and performance arts can be submitted as audio files with accompanying text documents or links to YouTube videos.
Best in Show Awards for both Visual and Performing Arts will be awarded. Winners will split 50% of artist registration fees. Registration for your work will be $25 for first entry, and $5.00 for each additional entry. Registration will be free to those participating in the Converging Creatives Mutual Inspiration Consortium.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2012.
Visual, audio and performance art accepted into the show will be part of the public show in the Village at Bay Harbor Galleries. Work will either be displayed or played in the galleries, or shown on large video screen with accompanying written materials, depending on the form of submission. Converging Creatives will handle all sales of original works as well as copies of CD’s and/or videos and will receive 25% commission.

You can email the form, along with your digital images of your artwork, video of your performance or written text documents (lyrics and poetry). You can also send a DVD/CD with images or performances in the mail, or drop off at Jerry Douglas Studio & Gallery in the Village at Bay Harbor.
